STEP 1 |
Vehicle's front tires are positioned between the VIS-Check rollers.

* Service Brake Release Timing

STEP 2 |
Vehicle's front tires are positioned on VIS-Check Wear Detection Plates. A
hydraulic jack lifts some weight off of the front axle. The plates move front to back and
side to side. VIS-Check allows the technician to observe the dynamic condition and integrity
of: |

* All Front Axle Suspension Components
* Engine & Chassis Mounts
* Wheel Bearing Movement |

Vehicle's rear axle tires are positioned between the VIS-Check rollers.
VIS-Check determines brake performance and measures: |

* Service & Parking Brake Air/Hydraulic Pressure
* Service & Parking Brake Release Timing

STEP 4 |
Vehicle's rear drive axle tires are positioned on the VIS-Check Wear
Detection Plates. A hydraulic jack lifts some weight off of the inspected axle. The plates
move front to back and side to side. VIS-Check allows the technician to observe the dynamic
condition and integrity of: |

* Chassis Component Integrity
* Fifth Wheel
* Wheel Bearing Movement
* Driveline
* Chassis & Body Mountings
* Inspect trailer or Special Axle configurations as detailed above. |

Inspect trailer or Special Axle configurations as detailed above. |

STEP 6 |
VIS-Check machine operator prints out detailed brake performance graphs
and reports for all wheel positions. The technician prepares a complete vehicle status
report and makes recommendations based on the performance reports and dynamic visual
inspections. |
